Chemo-mechanical monitoring of batteries
Batteries change chemically and mechanically as they cycle, and both show up in the same signal. I measure electrochemical, strain and pressure signals over weeks, using fiber Bragg grating sensors and load cells, and use a sliding-window Pearson correlation method (Python) to separate the two contributions. Solid-state Na–S batteries
Operando X-ray diffraction and electrochemistry on solid-state sodium–sulfur cells, studying how stack pressure and electrical transport control which polysulfide phases form. Example text: edit me.

Materials and thin films
Earlier work on solution-processed CuIn(S,Se)2 absorber layers, perovskite stability, flow-electrode capacitive deionization and fuel-cell membranes, with XRD and SEM characterization. Example text: edit me.
